Which mobile operating systems are supported by the Solos SDK?
The Solos® Smartglasses SDK provides native support for both iOS (Swift and Objective-C, iOS 14.0+) and Android (Kotlin and Java, Android 8.0+ API Level 26+).
How do the smartglasses connect to custom mobile applications?
Control signaling, sensor telemetry (IMU, touch events), and low-bandwidth audio data pass over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.2). High-bandwidth visual media (video streaming on AirGo V2) connects over a dedicated high-speed Wi-Fi connection initiated via SDK API calls.
Can we integrate custom AI models or third-party LLMs with the SDK?
Yes. The SDK provides raw audio buffers (PCM stream), Voice Activity Detection (VAD) events, and image frames. You can feed these data streams directly into your own cloud endpoints, local mobile AI models, or services such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, or custom enterprise APIs.
What is included in the 1-Year Enterprise Support program?
Starter Kit customers receive a private ticketing and support portal hosted on Zendesk, providing direct communication with Solos hardware, firmware, and mobile SDK developers for troubleshooting, sample code implementation, and feature requests.
How does frame customization work for corporate or optical deployment?
Because Solos smartglasses feature our patented SmartHinge™ system, the technology temples can be detached and snapped onto various front frames (eyeglasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, or custom optical prescriptions) without disturbing the core SDK electronics.
